NDT SUPERVISOR

GENERAL        
Perfect Training (including site training in performance and interpretation) is given as per the requirements of SNT –TC- 2A of American Society of Non Destructive Testing so that the candidates after training can take direct responsibility of NDT section of the organization. ASNT level-II certificate is issued in the following methods.
1. Radiographic Test
2. Ultrasonic Test
3. Magnetic Particle Test
 4. Penetrant test
Training include Practical NDT and Interpretation as per the syllabus give below

SYLLABUS
Duration of course is 1.5 months, which includes the following chapters

Chapter 1. Radiographic Test
Fundamentals
Radiographic Equipments
Radiation Safety
Radiographic Procedures
Practical Radiography
Standards & Codes
Interpretation and Evaluation of Radiography

Chapter 2. Ultrasonic test
Fundamentals
Ultrasonic Test Equipments and Accessories
Calibration and Standardization
Test Procedures
Practical Ultrasonic Test (Weld Joints, Plates, Castings)
Interpretation and Evaluation

Chapter 3. Magnetic Particle test
Fundamentals
Equipments and Accessories
Procedures
Practical MP testing
Interpretation and Evaluation

Chapter 4. Penetrant Test
Fundamentals
Equipments and Accessories
Procedures
Practical Penetrant testing
Interpretation and Evaluation

EXAMINATION & CERTIFICATION
Unit test is conducted after completion of each chapter by Induscan Petroleum Institute. Separate examinations will be conducted for Radiographic Test (RT), Ultrasonic Test (UT) Magnetic particle Test (MT) and Penetrant test (PT) by Level lll examiner of American Society for Non Destructive test (ASNT). The ASNT certificates have international validity.

QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION
Degree (Graduation) in BSc. is the basic qualification required for admission. Course is also offered for graduates with BA or BCom.

REGISTRATION
Properly filled application form along with a copy of Graduation Certificate shall be submitted either in person or through email. Pay Rupees 1000/- (Rupees thousand only) (cash or Demand Draft from any bank favoring “Induscan Petroleum Institute, payable at Nilambur). Candidates who have not obtained the final certificate shall attach the “course completed certificate” from their college.

FEE INSTALLMENTS
The fees shall be paid in two instalments as specified below.
First instalment at the time joining the class
Second instalment on next month

CLASS TIMING
Theory 9-00 AM to 2-00 PM,
Practical 3-00 Pm to 5 PM
6 Day week, Sunday holiday

HOSTEL FACILITY
Hostel is available with cooking facility. Prior registration is required for hostel facility.

PLACEMENT

Placement is guaranteed for minimum 25% candidate of each batch and placement assistance for others.
