RAY QUALITY WELDING

GENERAL
Very advanced welding school with modern welding technologies has been developed by Induscan Petroleum Institute with highly qualified and experienced Welding Engineers to train welders. Facilities include SMAW (ARC), GTAW (TIG) & GMAW (MIG) welding machines and arrangements for X- ray testing of welder test coupons. The plates, pipes Electrodes etc used for training are as per international standards and specifications. The final test is witnessed and certified by AWS-CWI. Welders successfully completed course from Induscan are capable of performing quality weld in all positions (6 G).

Principles of Welding
Welding Equipments
Welding Processes
Welding Electrodes and filler wires
Welding Current and Polarity
Welder Qualification
Weld Visual Inspection
Weld Defects

          b) Practical Class
          -   Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)on CS
          -  Practices in Fillet welding at 1F,2F,3F,4F using Low Hydrogen Electrodes
          -  Practices in Butt welding at 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G & 6G
          -  Weld Repair Practices
                        OR
          -   Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on CS & SS
          -  Practices in Butt Welding at 5G and 6G Positions
          -  Weld Repair practices
                        OR
          -   MIG   - ( Special batch up on request)

EXAMINATION & CERTIFICATION
Up on completion of training at each position, practical test is witnessed by Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) of American Welding Society (AWS) Theory Examination before 6G position Practical Test Certification is issued by Induscan Petroleum Institute  

QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION
Matriculation (SSLC)

REGISTRATION
Properly filled application form along with a copy of Graduation Certificate shall be submitted either in person or through email. Registration can be done through telephonic confirmation. Prior registration is not required.

FEE INSTALLMENTS
The fees shall be paid in Five instalments as specified below.
First instalment at the time joining the class
Next instalments on subsequent months

CLASS TIMING
Morning Shift            9-30 AM to 12-30 PM,
After Noon Shift   2-00 PM  to 5-00 PM
6 Day week, Sunday holiday

HOSTEL FACILITY
Hostel facility at free of cost  is available with cooking facility for welder trainees.

PLACEMENT
25% Placement is guaranteed after successful completion of the course of X ray Quality Welder Trainees.
